Tired of smoking pot? As of this past Wednesday, now you can ingest it in a variety of delicious ways over at the Ganja Gourmet in Denver, CO. One of many medical marijuana dispensaries in the city, the Ganja Gourmet decided to carve out its own niche in the legal pot market by doubling as the first full-service marijuana restaurant in the US, serving lasagna, gourmet pizza, jambalaya, paella, chocolate mousse and flavored cheesecakes, among other gourmet dishes.
I guess this is sort of like going to the local pharmacy and getting your prescriptions delivered to you by way of a nice mulligatawny stew, or perhaps some chicken Kiev.
I feel like I'm living in a fantasy land with all the pot-related news these days. And not news of drug busts, cartels, or incarcerations. This is benign stuff: a marijuana cafe in Portland, a combo medical marijuana dispensary/gourmet restaurant in Denver, the likely advent of legal pot in our nation's capital - it's insane! In a good way.
Sounds like a delicious idea to me.
