If you have a control group you can compare the cut plant vs the uncut plant and you can observe if it's correct for the seed your growing. Some plants handle being hormonally manipulated very well some get stunted and some bounce back without an interruption in momentum. Best wishes to your experiment. Its not LST its Fimming and i dont have the option of clones unfortunately
6looks like you fim'ed a bit high...should have cut a but lower...i just use my fingernail and feel for the thick "bulb" that is harder and more firm at the center...and i just pinch it off with my thumb nail at half way through the bulb...the trick is to get all the new growth that is there and cut it in half...then when you see new growth after the fim, it will look really fucked and shit...thats how you know you got it right...otherwise your just toppingIts not LST its Fimming and i dont have the option of clones unfortunately
i also agree with rub...i would have waited longer to fim.....topping i like to wait till minimum 4th node...but for fimming i like to wait a bit longer, usually i fim the week i flip to 12/12...then during the stretch them bitches really bush outAny trauma to apical bud will induce/increase branching.
IMO wait for at least 1 or 2 more nodes before pinching next time
I was just wondering if instead of FIMing you could use a very small dose of auxin early on to encourage auxiallry growth
