Did they root enough before sprouting?

These sprouted about 50 hours after planting. One had to be put back down in the dirt because the root was barely in the soil. I put them 1/4 to 1/2 inch down. Are they deep enough or do I need to try to get them a little deeper.

Plant them deeper, don’t disturb the root.

1/2" is what I shoot for using the Jiffy Pellets. You need more light and less water for your seedlings to develop. Right now the roots can't breathe and they're stretching for more light. These seedlings are 4 days from sprout.
