Is the idea to LST based on not having the photoperiod plant where one can control the vegetive timing to properly fill out the ScrOG? Like, is the auto probably going to start flowering before the ScrOG canopy has a chance to fill in?If its auto I would LST them instead. Looking nice, keep us updated

Would you top them at 5th node?
Thanks for the input OdlaFett!
Exactly, you got a small window of vegging and want to cause the least amount of stress on her in that period. I wouldnt top her, just tie her down 90 degress when shes about 20-25 cm. The side branches will shoot out and you tie them down aswell making a even canope, its basicly like scrog but a bondage version. Is the idea to LST based on not having the photoperiod plant where one can control the vegetive timing to properly fill out the ScrOG? Haha. Got it. Thanks! I think I’ll go with that approach.Exactly, you got a small window of vegging and want to cause the least amount of stress on her in that period. I actually moved it to 30” this morning. Both the seed leaves and first set of fan leaves are bent down. Hopefully they perk up with the extra distance. I’ll post some pics tonight, see what everyone thinksGood luck! Looks like you’ve done your homework. The only heads up I’d give you is that leds intensity seem to cause some issues with getting the distance correct. Move them closer slowly and pay attention to how the plants react, also use a cal- mag supplement. I’m not sure if the lack of heat from the light or increased intensity but in my experience plants under leds need extra cal.
cannabis doesn’t like wet feet. Better to go too long without watering than to water too frequently. I noticed you don’t have a fan for air circulation. Add at least one clip on fan to one of the poles in your tent. That will also help prevent mildew and other diseases. also airflow will make your plant stems stronger.
Dang. I was thinking that could be the case. I almost did the layering, but then I just went ahead and mixed the Happy Frog with the Ocean Forest, thinking that would tamp it down touch. Last time I left them in the Rapid Rooters longer, too. Also, I was hoping that the Rapid Rooters would provide a little protection from the nutrients in the OF soil, especially since I wasn't watering the soil directly.your soil is probably too hot for those seedlings. Thought I saw a brown edge on the seedling in the second picture. Next time, layer the soil with your autos. Put your hotter soils like fox farms in the bottom 3/4 of your pot then fill the rest with a well draining potting soil with no added fertilizers.
I think I went to edit it but accidentally deleted the reply@Seraphine I just read a reply from you, but then it disappeared... weird.
I liked what you were saying. That's a great idea. I'll probably do something like that with the fork just to scope out the roots. This is all just an experiment. To be honest, I'm kind of antsy to try some of my Wedding Cake seed stock indoors. That being said, I might just let them go and see what happens. They are growing. I appreciate your input. Very valuable to hear other people's perspectives and experience. Thank you!
