Has anyone tried dipping their RR's in water with myco in it before putting the cuts into them? I did half of my cuts I took yesterday this way just to see if there was any benefit. I'd think that the ones with myco should have healthier roots once they start and accelerated growth compared to those without. We'll see in about a week.

I would also think they would benefit,i bet they do well, keep us posted, always looking for new ways to keep failer rate down, cuttings are prone, for bad bacteria, thats why you need to have everything steryle. goodluck kindindy

i usually get 98 - 100% success rate without it, i'm just looking to accelerate the growth once roots are established. I will definetely report my findings.

i assume you are talking about Rapid Rooters(GH), Root Riot plugs(international hydrodynamicsCLONEX), or any of the spongy composted tree bark kind of plugs, theay all already have myco fungi in them when you buy them thats one of the reason i switched over to root riots plugs , but additional mycofungi only really help if there are roots present to innoculate if not dont waste the extra and let the mycoo fungi already present in the cubes do thier job.

sometimes an over population of endo and ecto fungi and benificial bacteria can be a problem for young root systems desperately looking for food.

Myco in water probably wouldn't even still be present by the time roots form. In the soil seems good enough.

Ended up not making any difference at all. 100% success rate but didnt effect the rooting time or amount of roots.

Nice to see people trying different things.
2 bad no difference bdawg sounded good though.
