Direct sun vs. partial sun vs. shade in flower

I'm growing two plants central Virginia outdoors in grow bags; guessing a couple of weeks from harvest. They're spent their lives in good direct sun in the back yard. I have a more discreet spot that I'd like to put them until I chop, but it's shadier, and at the woodline. WPM and the rot that we will not name are epidemic this year, so I have an oscillating fan on them 24/7. Thoughts, farmers?
