Also gotta say, I appreciate the nudge in this direction as well as the continued support. Im so far really liking growing in rockwool, It's so much easier to figure out what to feed it on the next watering cycle. Ec dropping? increase the food. EC rising? Reduce the food. PH too high? drop the ph.. I mean it sounds so simple but compared to
promix or anything that has a CEC and buffers, it's dead simple..
It just adds bit more science to the art of growing pot.
The worst part is knowing I could have taken this step over a decade ago and didnt. I dont know what i was afraid of... "Hydro" just always had this sense of mystique and complexity to it, just enough to make me feel like it must be more difficult or more work. But this style of hydroponics is right up my alley. Obviously the grow isnt over yet, I'm sure there will be more surprises but up to this point anyway, I'm sold on this shit. I cant see myself ever going back to
promix.
