Dissolved oxygen Meter? Who uses it?
Who uses one now and is it neccessary for my rez? I am keeping temps from 65 to 72 F now with a dual airstone setup and a stire pump that shoots straight up out of my rez, hits the rez lid and fall back down for more O2 and stirring action.
I know aquarium users use something called ORP, they have ORP meters and such, I believe it is related to O2 ocntent of the water, something like oxidation reduction potential... Not sure how this would relate to us as well...?
My thoughts are that most of us are guessing at the O2, probably close enough, but the ones with temp issues, may be useful to get a meter...?
Any thoughts on the topic?
