Ditching soil - first (DIY) hydro setup

Concentration also varies per bottle. CaliMagic specifically should give 0.18 EC (90ppm @ 500 scale) with 1ml per gallon, mine is only giving me 0.15 EC. Previous bottle was about 0.25 EC per ml (cap never tightened properly and I suspect some water may have evaporated over time).

@juliando you can easily test the concentration of your bottle, just add 1ml to a gallon of distilled or RO water, measuring EC before and after to see how much it rises.

Ok, dont have ro or distilled right now - but good tips.
I opted for a 100% waterchange - 5.8 1000ec 2mls calmag.
We'll see if it perks back up

Alright, unfortunatly this'll be the last post on this grow diary.
The great hydro experiment is over - with what I'll call "mixed" results.

While it is true that all 3 plants crashed and died in the 4th week of flower - despite being started at different times and being kept in seperate systems, tents and lights (weird)

They also produced about 2 handfuls of really dense little popcorn buds. Surprisingly potent considering they had like 5 more weeks to go - I dried/smoked some and it hit pretty hard.

So, thats encouraging and frustrating - if they had lived, the buds wouldve been amazing.

But they didnt...So, back to dirt.
(I have a new pest prevention plan)

Thanks for all the tips and everything, it was an interesting experiment - but I think hydro is just too much work for me.
