Stupid question, but google didn't turn up anything.

Do EC Meters round normally? If my Truncheon is showing an EC of 0.3, does that mean that it's reading an EC of 0.25 - 0.349? (The resolution on the Truncheon is 0.1 EC)

Use the ppm function and convert to EC manually for more accuracy. But that getting pretty small to worry about. Also you will be able to confirm the rounding points by doing this.

Typically, yes, EC is rounded. I enjoy EC for it's simplicity, but I find I often refer to PPM when I want to dial something in tight. Easiest way to convert PPM to EC, double it and move the decimal (or simply divide by 1,000). For instance, 700ppm (x2) would become 1400, 1400/1000 = 1.4 EC.

So let's look at an odd number, let's say, 759. 759*2 = 1518 /1000 = 1.518 EC

Awesome, thanks.

I was using my EC meter to try to figure out how much epsom salts to raise a liter of water by 0.1EC. I wound up with 0.18 grams per liter per 0.1EC.
