Do feminized seeds take longer to grow?

Hola,

I sprouted a few feminized seeds of a sativa dominant strain. They’re taking forever to grow..is this normal?

Seems like they’ve been this height for well over a week.

Hi you definitely got a problem if they have looked like that for over a week. they look about a week old and they are already yellowing. My guess would be either over or under watered or too much light stunting them?

Agree they are on the yellow side. Careful how much you are watering. They shouldn’t need fed at this point. They are also growing roots now so you may not see much change above soil this early.

Yah not sure…there’s new leaf growth but super slow. The lighting might be misleading - they have a healthy green to them..they’re just taking forever to take off. Ive never sprouted feminized seeds so I wasn’t sure if a slow start is a characteristic of this type of seed.

FYI In case you’re interested in knowing.. it was the lighting. Meaning, I didn’t have them close enough to the fluorescents. I propped them up closer to the bulbs with a few coasters - about 2 inches from the bulbs. And overnight they responded favorably - they have a “thank you” look about them.
