Do u prefer topping or bending the tops??

I have some Chemdog D S1 in my ebb and flow system now and a couple of them are monsters! grew MUCH quicker than i had anticipated. did a lot of bending but just not enough room and i am real worried about them getting even bigger. Anyway this is end of fist week of flower and i decided to chop of tops of some taller branches. I think it will be fine.
