do you top a plant before or after sexing

hey farmers. Im doing a grow outside and have started to LST some of the girl. I have one spot with 4 mazar x afy that have not been sexed yet. everything else i have out is fems.I want to top a couple to try different things. LST on some now i want to top some of them . Do I wait till I sex them before i top them or is it cool to do it now . they are about 8 inches and on ther 5th node i think......... I want to try the technic where you leave 1/4 of the part to be topped on the node to promote maney maney shoots. have any of you farmers tried this yet and is it worth doing.:damnhippie::smiley_joint::damnhippie:

It's fine to top prior to sexing as long as the plants are big enough.

i top after 5 nodes well b4 sexing

on thier 5th node..top and then again after 3 nodes of new shoots..bushes

Some strain, if u top them befor they show sex, they will take show it late, so if u can, top after...
