Oh yeah.....I had my PhD defense/viva today and passed with minor revisions....so, subject to minor revisions I'm now Dr FF!
The even better news is that in order to complete these revisions I have to go back to Delft, which means more time in Dam.....yeeeeeeeeeeeah boyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.... :)
That was easily more hardcore than the birth of Amy - I got a proper kicking from the examiners....3.5 hours on the backfoot, defending my work and why I'd done it that way. Sweated bullets.
That's the end of 4 years hard graft....baby and defense in the same week takes titanium bollocks....gonna skin up with the freshly drying TW....
Oh yeah, and some utter tool cuts me up on the way there......I brake hard, he's on the phone, I wave the wanker sign, he chases me, I cane it, he makes it onto campus, we face each other down, loads of banter, more facing down, he walks away before I call the cops....
What a day....but all that shit is over now....
