want some insight on if anyone does 3 gallon pots or not I want run 3 gallon pots with 70/30 coco/perlite mix and had some questions like how many plant y'all put under a light or how much feeding does your 3 gallon pot take ? like half a gallon or maybe more?

I’ve been growing in 5 gallon with soil. I’m learning that more is possible with less.

What light are you planning on running? ✌️

That looks like a solid light. I grow in a 4x4 with two lights that add up to about 600 W. I’ve been flowering 4 plants at a time 👍

why soil?? what is the diff of soil and coco

I flower In as small as 8oz
Half the size of a
Solo.
Threes do wonderful .
I’m really starting to prefer ones though
It should always just depend on your current current application is ten size/grow area, sog, Scrog, it’s whatever you know
Keep it versatile. First two of small pots. Really small🤣
Last few is a scrog im installing to control the lower shelves height, post stretch, mostly 1g and some half g

I flower in 3 and 5 gal fabric pots with success but in soil. The fabric let's 3 gal plants get to the size of 5 gal nursery pots. Idk if you'd want to use fabric with coir and perlite that would be a lot more watering.
I also found out fabric pots aren't good if you plan on up potting. Roots can grow into fabric making a mess of your up pot. Ask me how I know lol.

what I was thinking of doing is getting the 3 gallon bag pots filling it up with 70/30 and plant my rooted cutting into there and veg it for about 6 weeks until I throw it in flower

Took me a couple tries 🤓 I figured out massage technique that helps me breakaway the roots from the fabric ✌️💪👊

how much do you feed your 3 gallon pots?

However much the plants tell me they need. Sorry I know not the answer you are looking for but as little as possible.
I personally up pot 2-3wks before flower not longer or less. That way plant has time to find boundaries but not fill pot with roots. I like having root space for the first 3 wks of flower. Idk if this is right or whatever but I have personally gotten best results doing this way. Unless going from solo to 5gal or something bigger then I'd give more time before flip. I also have a veg closet and separate grow area so I have a perpetual flower going.

They shouldn't and I haven't seen it happen. Gas exchange through the fabric should air prune the roots.

I follow a feeding schedule from Fox Farm with their bottled nutes.
That is the best advice to go buy! Follow the feeding schedule for your nutes. For caution I'd recommend starting lower than suggested since not all plants are the same you can always add more if needed. Not overwatering and allowing a solid dryback will have your plants healthy and happy.

I didn’t grow in coco but when I grew I 3 gallons it was about 1/3 gallon every day during the stretch.

Ive grown 1g, 2g and 3g (currently a 2g journal growing mimosa x orange punch). i can only flower 4 total at a time and havent grown more than that. the 3 plants in 2g are mid flower and fertigate with about 2 gallons a day. at 5 total events in a day, 4 lights on 1 lights off

I do smaller pots in coco, 1.5 or slightly more for once a day watering. If on drippers, more like 1 gallon with many times per day watering.

I use 3gal fabric for photoperiods. My tent is a 3x3x6 250watt light. I've run 4 at a time but 3 is better managed by me. Last pick are 3month old photoperiods at 8days of 12/12 last hydration they took 64fluid oz with very little runoff. I lift the pots for dryness but right now it's taking them 4days to dryout.
