I have with cheap fabric pots I think they have woven fabric. I've had it happen 3 times so I've stopped.

Here is a gmo in a 1.5 nursery pot soil.
I have as well. Roots started growing out the bottom, but it wasn't too bad.

The GMO looks pretty.

I haven't flowered in 3-gallon pots. I have, however, reduced the size of the pots I use since I began growing in them. I went from 10 to 7 and have stayed at 5 for quite a while now. I think pot size and plant size are related. The 5-gallon pots seem to be a good fit for the size of plants I usually grow.

About roots growing into fabric pots: I believe that's likely to happen if the sides or bottom are wet, and that's not how those pots are intended to be used (as I understand things, that is). My understanding is that the idea behind fabric is to allow exposure to the atmosphere from all surfaces of the pots. That way, the soil dries better than plastic or ceramic pots and the roots can exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide. Roots don't want to grow where the soil is dry. I've known it to be described as air pruning. I snipped this from a quick search:

Have these in 3 gallon . I would say a bit more than a gallon of water for run off for both like 6 litres.
Then I could go about 3 days in my climate.

You are correct. These were inside and in a pot saucer. That stopped the air pruning from the bottom hence the roots growing into bottom. Even if I water in the tub the pot is still wet and in plant saucer doesn't dry back as intended.
