I have no experience with land race strains but I have 2 Thai XXL seedlings now, should I expect it to be harder then growing regular cannabis?

It should be stativa...you know tall slanky...skinny leaves....long flower time. I love growing stativa....I've done Columbian Gold, Panama Red, Golden Tiger, Malawi and currently have Punta Rojo and Lambsbreath going. I love the ole school weed. Back in the day you couldn't get half of it...but when you did get you loved it. Also there wasn't much sensimillia going around....since ti grow it is a bonus.

Yeah I forgot to mention that I have a single plant from the Mekong headwaters in Thailand growing alongside a couple Congolese. I wanted to grow something unadulterated from Thailand because I have smoked a Thai strain that was too much for most people, heart racing cocaine ish soaring sativa high. And the Congolese because of a high times article about an expedition to the African congo where the locals had a tradition of eating the local cannabis to induce a hallucinogenic reaction. I don’t know if either of these strains are going to live up to the hype, but in the name of nostalgia Im willing to give them some space in the tent. I just chopped a Mexican LR crossed with a Columbian LR that flowered for 14 weeks.

Got the same strain from that dude, its about to be the second week of November and flowering is not remotely close to done . Weather has been weird in my area too but flowering started Mid September and usually I would expect to be nearing harvest but I seen this strain may take 20 wks for harvest?? May have wasted my time this year but lets see.
