one plant in my garden is looking crazy? I have no pest, water and soil is great and it's 80 outside, that's the hottest. What causes the leaves to curl and look so crazy? Some deficiency?
well, geez - I believe broad/russet mites are over-diagnosed these days but it does look like the boogey man has come knocking on your gate. Read the threads, buy a loupe and then maybe a flamethrower.
The mature leaves on your plant look fine. I have had plants with new growth that looks like that (kinda curled/twisted) and they matured just fine. Probably an odd pheno, I say NOT russet mites.
It looks like you've dug holes in the ground and filled them with good soil. If I'm right , those plant roots are reaching the outer soil and interacting with the higher ph soil. Just my guess. If not, I'm not sure, looks like a hot spot?
Those plants drip line is hitting the very edge of the New soil. Plants roots stretch out a foot past the drip line in search of whatever. Those plants look like they are in maybe 5 to 10 gallons of "premium" soil with nowhere to spread to.
