They gave him the blood transfusions, and he has been getting progressively worse. Even being on oxygen it is still getting worse. They even put him on steroids to try to strengthen his lungs in case it was a reaction from the transfusions. But he has still been getting worse. I don't want him to suffer any longer.
This thread is killing me. I had to put this one down in May. She had a cancerous mouth tumor that I had operated on to de-bulk the mass, giving her a bit more time. She made it a year after that but came in one day and gave me "the look"..She usually hated and cried during car rides, but this time she spared me the pain of hearing that on her final trip. She managed to eat and play until the very last day.My condolences...my 16-year old beloved dog passed a year ago. It's rough...
