They gave him the blood transfusions, and he has been getting progressively worse. Even being on oxygen it is still getting worse. They even put him on steroids to try to strengthen his lungs in case it was a reaction from the transfusions. But he has still been getting worse. I don't want him to suffer any longer.

Wish there were words...we are all with you, as much as anyone can be during this...

My condolences...my 16-year old beloved dog passed a year ago. It's rough...
This thread is killing me. I had to put this one down in May. She had a cancerous mouth tumor that I had operated on to de-bulk the mass, giving her a bit more time. She made it a year after that but came in one day and gave me "the look"..She usually hated and cried during car rides, but this time she spared me the pain of hearing that on her final trip. She managed to eat and play until the very last day.

I have three dogs again since adopting one last Jun. The oldest is a 13 yr old Border Collie that I adopted from our Humane Society 8 years ago. She is the best dog ever and has reached the ripe old age of 13!

I want some of what he had.
Buster 10 yr old pit bull. Starting to gray up a bit. He lays around crazy all the time. He also has a blanket he litterally carries around and covers himself up in. Great dog good with kids n all. But still protective.

My ten pound min pin... he's about 15, only has one eye but that's okay because he can't see out of it any way. He's hard of hearing too. I've never seen such a tough dog.. You wouldn't believe the falls and crashes this guy has.
