Liking that idea; the Urkel and the SSH are both awesome, in their own right. Whatever terpene causes the purple almost always smells floral/fruity; I catch grape overtones alot when my buds turn purple. In fact, the cool temps that bring out the purple seem to change the entire flavor and aroma of whatever strain it is. Many of my strains don't turn unless it's nice and cool- the same strains taste and smell different depending on the weather... In my experience, at least.

Ok, she hung up to dry for 5 days. I smoked the first sample of dried bud in a bong. The urkle does not come through in the flavor at all, it is SSH all the way. The high, which I don't find all that potent, is a good blend of body and head. I can't wait to see what a proper cure will bring out.

I taste grape then a silver haze after taste.
I like where the flavor is going.
Potency is increasing, still not quite there.

After 2 weeks of curing, the potency is coming around. It is getting stronger for sure.
I also get a nice grape flavor now, the Urkle flavor is very dominant now. It leaves a fruity grape flavor in your mouth a good 10 seconds after exhale.

I am going to continue this line.
