Don't ever do anything drastic when it's older, bottom fan leaves. Monitor the situation and make sure new growth looks good first.

I just broke mine off.none of others had so thought it might just be to close to light .checking that first.see if it progresses
To more.

The key point I've been seeing over and over, and they have all been correct in giving it....ph your water to 5.8 to 6.0.
Most of the stress you are experiencing will disappear any other problems you may or may not have won't be evident until after this is done.

Yea I'm going to try and ph the water lower at around 6.0 last watering I did was 6.4 but I don't see how this could be the issue if my runoff is testing 6.0 ph

In soil ph should be closer to 6.8 coco should be closer to 6…

So should I try and raise the soil ph by giving it like 6.5 or 6.3 ph water? All this is new to me
I aim for 6.8 if I’m within .2 I use it, 6.6-7. My water is too high and takes too long for the soil to buffer so I use PH down. If it goes below 6.6 I dump the water and start over. Don’t ever use ph up if you take the water too far down, it can be dangerous to you. Also, your nutrient line will likely lower your ph. My recommendation would be to recalibrate your pen, and aim for 6.8.

Yea I'm growing in happy frog soil also and using the general hydroponics nutrients

Hello, it would also be advisable to have a pH lower than 5.5 or 6 because these minerals are the first to stop being absorbed when the pH is high. The irrigation ph is always better at 6.0, no more.

Even I’m getting confused

He’s in soil yet feeding hydro nutes
Is the fact they are feeding hydro nutes the reason you recommend hydro ph levels 5.5-6 & not the normal 6.3-6.9 ph level that’s normally recommended for soil

do the symptoms appear to be progressing? It’s worth noting once the deficiency is corrected a lot of the yellowing will never return to green. Some deficiencies you can get the color back, I.e iron, sulfur. So if it isn’t progressing anymore and if you had a deficiency it’s likely corrected. Don’t worry about the ph or ppm coming out of runoff, you’ll be chasing your tail. If you were growing in coco then that may be a different story.

I snip the tips of distressed leaves as a way of tagging them. If I see a snipped tip it's something I've previously noticed and will check it closer as I monitor for improvement. Which in most cases means just not worsening, lol.

Yes, synthetic nutrients require the proper ph'd water.

Veg nutrients
5.8 to 5.9 it will rise as it dries/used by the plant

Early flower: 5.9 to 6.0
Mid flower: 6.0 to 6.1
Late flower: 6.1 to 6.2

These are the numbers I use when using synthetic nutrients

But isn’t 6.3-6.8 the right level with synthetic nutes

I’m confused why there saying 5.5
We all do things a little bit different and use slightly different numbers mostly it depends on who, where and when we learned it. Then we modify with experience. Our own and others.
5.5 is kind of low, you need a ph nutrient absorption chart.

im confused like a mf lol so your saying 6.0 is what i should ph the water to I've had 3 other answers to what the ph should be one guy said 6.8 but i feel like thats way to high im going to try 6.0 ig lol

so if i give it 5.9 the soil ph will rise?

Looks like those leave tips could have been touching the ground when you watered/fed them. With autoflowers I cut my nutrients in half from the directed dose. Autos are finicky and don't like too much nutes.
I'm a religious Foxfarm Happy Frog soil user. It's got enough nutes to get you through 3 weeks. I usually start my light feeding with autos at week 3 or 4 depending on how they're doing, I also start lowering my Nitrogen and increase Potassium during flower.
Hope this helps.
