Do think she would tolerate sharing a space with others? : ) i have this strain from you and want to run it but would like to get a couple others in there as well!

Stuff is looking fire JJ! 😍
You’ll be just fine running her with others. She’ll enjoy the company, girls get lonely growing solo😂

Hey 🐻, remember that strain I had that wasn’t very pleasant in the olfactory department? Well by golly I was wrong, well sorta, it still tastes bland but I made some oil to just it out and let me tell ya, damn it! If I hadn’t made the oil myself I wouldn’t have believed it. The most pleasant flavor filled aromatic etc etc ,

simply put the best smelling/tasting oil I’ve ever made from flower that just didn’t taste good!

Plum Crazy x Okie- day 0
Notice the new lid, this gal is going into a RDWC. There’s so little to change between flood/drain and RDWC. Basically toss the timer on the water pump, there’s others but they are optional.
I had bought a 4th 40 gl resv I’ve used as a wash tub since this started. Pics explain things better

Only swapping one of the 3 systems over for now. I’ve done RDWC before and there’s a couple issues I want to work out before switching over

why you moving away from flood and drain?that system was amazing in my opinion. any advantages over? or is it just too much work washing balls :D

This will produce as much f/d, maybe more. The ball washing is down to a science, easiest part of the process. Now there were days way back I just about gave up on my balls.
One goal for this year is to get my avg yield up. Can’t do that without making a change

it would be nice to see if there is any change.i would think f/d had better results with all the fresh air access it gets.
i dont think you ever posted your vpd? maybe a change in that would make the difference? dwc can push the plants more since they can transpire as much as they want it never gets dry

I’ve never really dealt with vpd. I grow in a detached garage with not much control over enough variables vpd is a rabbit hole I’m going to avoid for the time being. Excellent point thought 😎

The second part of your post is exactly one of the issues I am trying to solve. Dissolved oxygen. Simple most would answer, run an air pump.
I’m not running an air pump, that’s the kicker, and I’m not going to on this run. Less is more sometimes so I’m trying to oxygenate with my return water, time will tell

vpd dictates will your plant drink 1L or 2L today.i would get in to that.i got ac infinity fan it has a vpd mode and it just makes the fan go faster and slower.it manages to get my tent to a stable 1.2 now like 70% of the time rest is just over that.

for the airpump i guess it doesnt matter where the new air comes even a waterfall would be enough.i guess it would be best to have it under the roots soo they are in direct contact allways.i allways have to cut roots to pull the stones out.

I’m a dumbass, particularly when it comes to germination.
I’ve tried lots of methods over the years with varied success. Lately I’ve gone with the paper towel method. Results sucked but the other day I had the thought, BLEACH!!!!
So I got some unbleached, and would you believe

I’m gonna snag some unbleached! You might be onto something there! The Jade nectar guy pops hundreds of seeds using the paper towel method with great success! He says he uses unbleached, but more for just being hippie, dippy type reason! But maybe it does give you just a slight advantage! I need all the help I can get!👍

I was sitting here looking at these brown spots on the white paper towel and it was like “that can’t be good”. Give it a try let us know how it turns out

So I’ve got plants coming online that are regs and I really want to know which way the lean BEFORE going into a flower system.
So I picked up this cool little 5 gl Craftsman tote. Checked for fit, yep. Found a pump and fittings, time to tinker

Boy! Scoring unbleached, paper towels around this Berg was impossible! Went online and was beginning to get discouraged with all of the minimum orders and a long wait times! Finally found a place that was 12 bucks for one roll delivered! Wally World online to the rescue! Seventh generation just arrived!😂🍻 I was afraid to go bamboo!

This should hold rooted clones for a couple weeks to show sex. It will borrow light and water from a flowering system. Gas Pedal will be the first to go in soon to give it a test run

That's great.....offended.....me?

Hell no.....

High....

Hell yeah!!!!

Thank You jj!!!!

Everyone on this site is so pushy.....makin me attempt to make hash....how dare all??

I'm tending to believe your last statement.....the kief I used was a mix of early trimmings, yes, I still love the early/just cloudy, no amber harvests, and minimal amber trimmings.....

All in all, I'm grateful for the chance to be able to learn the hobby that I have been into since the 90s.....soooo much to learn!!!!!!!!!
