Drinking from a Cattle Trough

All my flowers drink from a cattle trough. It's been about 15 years since I've done a grow diary here so I figured it was time to update things. Like a lot of my fellow growers here I'm getting old and my health isn't good. Ruptured disk etc...

🤩 well thank you for those kind words homie! ❤️✌️

oh man id fit right in around here pushing myself backwards in a wheelchair half coherent! 🤣 or my kids would want to see how fast id go down the hill out front!😂
Lol I would have mine push me around the store, while I was totally baked looking like a vegetable while looking for some munchies.
And of course! Over time, you pick up a thing or two and yields get better and better. I remember years ago being frustrated with my out come from growing, till I started to slow down and take the wisdom and knowledge in from the older folks trying to give subtle hints. I started growing in a time when it was a the thing to keep a secret from everyone, luckily I grew up around my family, all my uncles grew, so I got equipment and nutrients, but they pretty much set me up in the right direction, but letting learn on my own. I guess it was kinda a right of passage in a way. But visiting all the hydro shops and getting more involved with the cannabis community, helped me develop my skills. The thing we had back then was just the grow Bible lol. Now you have access to all information at the tap of a button.

The grow Bible I have is from 1983
The indoor grow Bible from Jorge Cervantes, if anyone was wondering.
That's how old the literature I had when I started in the early 2000's. Then in 04 I got an updated grow Bible. Never needed to purchase another one after that since the Internet improved and everything was easier to find information that I needed to improve as well as the people I talked to at the grow shops. It is crazy how far things have came. I am glad to be apart of the farm, and have the opportunity to watch people like you @BearWater grow and be able to exchange information as well seeing how things progress. You already have a pretty great foundation from the posts I have seen so far.
Also for years I have been only around west Coast growers, seeing all the grows going on internationally and on the east side of the states, is fun to watch the smaller communities that were so held back have the capability to grow some quality product. Traveling around the states used to suck if you didn't bring at least enough to keep you high till you got back to the stash at home. I was blessed to grow up in Seattle because of the quality of the cannabis and availability of it, when I would go out of town the weed quality would be so terrible and over priced because of how state laws were for neighboring states, I remember going to South Dakota in 2008, and all the weed out there was brick weed or some stuff that barely resembled weed. And when anyone would smell or smoke the stuff I brought, they would be literally begging for me to sell it to them. It sucks getting old, but man the adventures getting there are what makes it fun.

The wife’s is giving your’s a run for their money!😆 thats a great run for the table plant : )

I think i see what i should do on my plants looking at your lemon tree : ) ✌️

My little grow room buddies are back, spider mites. Not like they ever leave just haven’t seen any since Chemdog #4. Mites have plants they love, others they turn their noses to.
Here’s my treatment, simple yet effective. If I hadn’t of cleaned the lowers it wouldn’t be so simple

The Wife’s - we went a couple cycles without blooms, making up for it now. These take more time training than their cousins under the big lights

That looks great. What's your favorite recipe to use it in? I assume any recipe that calls for oil could be swapped for this, but what's your go to?

🤓 my quick (and probably wrong lol) math is saying your oil is at least 140mg thc a tablespoon
My go to is a brownie with ice cream. I put a banana in there but Curtis Lowe gets that
I gave some to a couple of coworkers, they might be a little strong for the common folk

This guy eats a gel cap of the cooking oil every night. The caps I make out of rosin are too much for him, those are for me😁. He sleeps through the night, otherwise it’s every 2 hour patrol duty and when a 196 lb dog walks around checking on every person in the house nobody sleeps

So what’s the formula to figure out the strength @Tumbleweed375 ? Been curious

Was reading folks thoughts on CO2 over on @cpurola ‘s thread and I almost forgot I bought this back in early summer. Was looking at pilot lights on during the summer months. My heat source is good for the plants

After it’s been on for an hour, initial readings are way off

Hey jj.....

I'm not sure what amounts are beneficial for plants as I've yet to fall into that hole....

After a quick look into co2 a while back, I'd be wasting it essentially....

Although, I've got a gas heater in my area, which works pretty good, the area is definitely not sealed.....

So I'm thinking, maybe I'm supplementing them more than I realize.....

And jj......

Definitely, Thank You for the laugh the other day!!
