It’s been a difficult decision, one that’s taken years to make. I really like HID lighting, there’s something about them and that warm glow.
I wanted a light that is better thanHID, not just a replacement. I do believe California Light Works SolarSystem 550 will do that.
As my son reminds me at times like this

Sad and excited. I took that heat and dried my rocks so they could get cleaned. I heated my shop with that HID heat for years. To say this is going to be a change and a challenge is the proverbial understatement.
You and I were the last remaining holdouts. On to the next generation!

If / when I have questions I’ll call their tech support. A real human, not AI , her name is Cristy and she is a grower with a couple decades experience and speaks English. She’s also their sales representative, knowledgeable!
