drip help

hey there,

ive setup a drip system test using a 5g bucket, 2 emitters doing 1g/hour, under two T5's six inch mesh using hydroton, ive been monitoring root growth and its still has not really done much in about two weeks, where am i going wrong?

alittle more about the setup :
plant is still in veg doing 18/6 drip is running the whole 18(because of this i assume?), about a foot tall, previously transplanted from soil

what are your water temps at ? & are you using any root enhancers? b1? . sorry to ask this but we kinda need a lil more info. ph? ppms?
