My plant is being grown outdoor in the ground its about 3.5 months along and just suddenly started drooping out of nowhere. I water every other day about 3 gallons around the root system. I made sure it wasnt root rot and even tried giving more water to make sure it isnt being under watered. Plz help. Cant get photos right now but will have them tomorrow. In replies to this thread any discussion helps.

In that case it may be overwatering that is the problem. Leaves will also droop when overwatered.

If you can, provide some pictures.

First two are the drooping plant and the last one is the plant about 4 feet away that i water the same amount.

Excessive watering can cause drooping.

Edit: Oops! I didn't see that @THCosmic already said that. Sorry.
I did let it sit for an extra day without watering it to see if it was overwatering but it seems to have only made it worse. Should i go like 3 days without watering to let the soil dry more? I feel like that would finish the plant off tho.

Outside droop, oof. Excess water in the root zone compounded by poor soil aeration is the number one culprit. Next to that it depends where you are as to whether it's heat or bugs. The problem with bugs causing the droop is you're not going to see them without a jewers loupe or something.

You mentioned eliminating root rot as the culprit... did you use a soil probe? When you say you water around the roots I presume you mean you are putting your water into the soil at the drip line and no closer to the stem than that.

So if it's not your water and there hasn't been excess heat, check for sap sucking bugs like aphids and mites.

Normally folks will post some pictures of the issue so without that we can only respond to what you are describing.

Edit: Wait, I see you added some, I'll take a look.

Is there a lot of yellowing of the lower branches/leaves.
There wasnt until this started happening as for ammendments to the soils not much at all. This is only my second time growing and last year i basically threw em in the ground watered them when it didnt rain. This year i did a little different doing a 50/50 mix of topsoil and miracle grow. Dug 3ft wide by 3 foot deep holes and filled em with that mix and planted them in the ground once they reached about a foot and a half tall.

Looks like roots are unhappy but it's peculiar that another nearby plant isn't. Could be something bad in that spot of dirt or could be bugs ravaging the roots.

There's quite a list of could be's but you can cross a few off because of the nearby healthy plant.

Alright ill try taking a few days off of watering and would you suggest airating the soil a bit? Any suggestions on what i can do to get rid of bugs if that is the case and not harm the plant in the process.

I remembered seeing this on the forum, but I couldn't remember the name of it.

Hey Bondedseeker,

Over the last two, three weeks, has it been broiling hot where you grow?

All your plants were done this way, then.? šŸ¤”. Yellowing of bottom leaves is typically nitrogen deficiency. Miracle grow soil has very little for the later vegetation stage of growth. And no microbial life to speak of.
We're learning, though. Not that I wish harm to anyone's grow, that's not right. But here, we get to learn what and how to possibly save the time invested in raising these plants.

Hope she pulls though. Their so resilient in their own right.

One of my plants just drooped big time this am. I noticed a cherry tomato plant near it that some of its branches drooped, looks like I’m Fusarium fucked.
