Bennies! I haven't grown in soil since moving out of my old house with a backyard about 13 years ago, but I would always use mycorrhizae. It is very important to create a thriving environment of beneficial microbes so they can fend off the bad guys for you. Even now when I grow indoors using hydroponics I still use bennies. All your plants were done this way, then.?. Yellowing of bottom leaves is typically nitrogen deficiency. Miracle grow soil has very little for the later vegetation stage of growth. And no microbial life to speak of.
We're learning, though. Not that I wish harm to anyone's grow, that's not right. But here, we get to learn what and how to possibly save the time invested in raising these plants.
Hope she pulls though. Their so resilient in their own right.
