I'm curious why you do multiple hot bottling once it has melted and formed a homogeneous piece.

So once the dry sift has been cleaned to the point @GNick55 has it in the picture below, would a person still have to worry about sub zero extraction? That is if a person was to put it into an ethanol or IPA solution and process it further? Could a clean extraction be done at room temp? Or best off doing extraction at sub zero temps?
Given almost all plant material has been removed, there should be very little to no chlorophyll, fats, waxes or lipids. No? Or would winterization still be required?

i’m sure what your talking about would work,, it’s just having the passion to keep going as i could of recleaned the static sift again to refine it further,.
i just need to get passed the point of good enough to perfect,, somewhere inbetween there is good with me,

Im gonna try to guess... so he gets the consistency he wants. When I do my hash I just press until its brown and its a different kind of hash than what gnick is getting. You need to press it more and then work it like he does with the gloves to get that kind of hash. Mine is different in consistency, his looks way more appealing honestly hahaha.

pressing multiple times and folding it onto itself ensures a uniform homogeneous trichome melt,. you need to at least do 3-4 cycles,. depending on the resin you could do it 10-15 times,..

This is from bubble washing, but might apply here! I got a noticeable amount of lipids and whatever left in my bag cleaning pan after the 99.9 evaporated off! So winterization might come in to play! I don’t know that much about it!

I guess it gets leached out of the plant material! I’ve only seen people deal with it who are making oil or are filling carts! I don’t know if it’s a sign of doing something wrong when bubble washing! Maybe beating up the material too much or if it’s just part of the game!

I scraped all of the non-white stuff up, but it wouldn’t press! It’s fats, lipids, whatever! Considered a contaminant! I didn’t try to smoke it! Lol!

Might be what it is after it’s hardened up! If you swish your bags around in a cake pan of about a half inch of iso, 99.9, to clean them and let it evaporate off. It might be what you see! I’ve seen the oily Sheen also!

I noticed the oil was thick, so I just dumped that off the top. First time I saw that I tried to evaporate it off but the oil got hard like shatter

also to get a better chance at getting soft malleable hashish is to harvest with a good amount of amber trichomes,. than obviously strain genetics matter also,. harvesting early or mostly milky, translucent will generally give a harder hash,.
here check this out,.
