Hey all... need a large dry tumbler; Ive made one before and still have it, but its too small for my purposes.

Thinking of just getting a premade now, bigger scale. 5+ lb per full drum?

Recommendations? Searched old threads but those links are now dead. I know there are many companies selling these but can't find em online.
EZ Trim has one, and I get wholesale. Wondering if there's comparable larger (better?) ones...?

Id like to buy all the vowels.

May be too small for your needs
Unless you combine your new with the old. And work em two at once.

3.5 lb PollenMaster tumbler, roughly same price point/volume

https://www.monstergardens.com/PollenMaster-1500-High-Quality-Pollen-Extraction-unit?filter_name=pollen master

*VS*

The EZ Sift, 4lbs, multi layer/screens, different materials and vibrates not tumbles... but dry sift still

I *suspect* the EZ-Sift at similar cost and capacity would be better? The videos look really good, and the triple micron layering to sift fine fine kief is what Im aiming for... but I want input before pulling the trigger, if anyone has thoughts...

I would never buy a trimmer or polish wheel when you can make your own as needed just buy increasing the diameter of the wheels. ... net and staples are cheap

Same here I can make something to my needs it may not be as shiny or pretty but it's does work and saves me tome. Sometimes just buying something ya it's cool but when you have taken time to work it out and make one with your hands you tend to appreciate and be proud of. "I made that "

Anyone have and run this unit? I have about 100 into dry ice in my last 3 runs. This unit could have been paid for already. I normally have 2.5lbs trim I work with.

I totally get DIY. I've built a tumbler before. But sometimes the hassle vs savings isn't an equation I take, personally. I have a ton of DIY projects I'm currently behind on, as is. I do some DIY projects, some turn out better than others. I respect the DIY. I just have very finite time and a big backlog already.

I used to make my own carbon scrubbers. But for another 40.00, I could have a massive 70# scrubber for the price of my home made scrubber half the size.

I was just showing a buddy the EZ Press Pro I'm looking at, wholesale cost to me for $3k. He replied he did the DIY Harbor Freight press then custom heated plates, spent $800. I asked how well it works and he responded that he hasn't put it together yet. The other challenge of DIY.

Again, I love and respect DIY. Truly. I've done some good DIY stuff myself too. But time vs cost vs results are a balance. I built my first kief tumbler in about a day. Still have it. But I need a volume unit and it need it to work and I need it asap. And I'm buried with projects and commitments.

Good observation RE: carbon filter. I did the same thing with silencers. They can be DIY. Or for another $50 you can save yourself an afternoon. Either way as long as it works.

I rock the 20ton h frame harbor freight press and playes from low temp plates and LOVE it. 240 for the press, 20.00 for upgraded grade 10 hardware, 400 for my 5x7 500w per plate pid set up. Works awesome.

Link to the Plates. Levi is the owner.

I squished a chaos nug last night. Nice almost opaque results. Super tasty, and super strong. Way better than my trim/kief runs.

The press is their 20t h-frame unit. I bought the extended warranty as well. The weakest link is the grade 4 oem hardware and the jac .

Please post a link.

I have more than the hobbiest amount of trim to run every 10 weeks. But I'm not on a commercial scale.
