Please post a link.

I have more than the hobbiest amount of trim to run every 10 weeks. But I'm not on a commercial scale.
you know you can do a bunch of mods the 20 ton press for example to have more than 1 plate per press... i have one im building now i bought a super big air compressor and the air over hydraulic bottle jack mod i also have air filters and a inline oiler for the bottle jack to make it so i dont have to pump it i just push a button... next ill add more plates..... ive also been looking into getting a digital pressure guage that you can program to take into account your plate size and 20 ton cilinder size but there a little expensive so that will be the last mod i do if you want links to any of these mods let me know

I *suspect* the EZ-Sift at similar cost and capacity would be better? The videos look really good, and the triple micron layering to sift fine fine kief is what Im aiming for... but I want input before pulling the trigger, if anyone has thoughts...

im doing a diy tumbler myself roughly based on a design i found here the difference between mine and this is im useing a 55 gallon pickle barrel and i think im going to use a different motor i was thinking a low temp oil motor so it wont have as many issues when i use dryice

i should have my press and tumbler running within the week soon as the mail gets here ill post pics of the tumbler and press as i build it

55g DRUM ... that is a DIY worth effort. Small ones, Id just buy.

DIY works but the APE tumblers tiny. I have my homemade that size that works just as well. Simply not big enough though.

Still not hearing any reason I shouldnt get the EZ Trimming brand tumbler and press at wholesale. Both are commercial scale.
Only 1 tumbler prefab is bigger, and its way more expensive to run 10lb vs the 6lb, and I like the EZ Sift footprint and multi screen shake design... separate layers of differnt quality; large stuff can still go into tincture later for example...

I hope I don't run into the same problem with the APE being to small.

I will stay tagged to see where you go. Good luck.

for my 55 gallon pickle barrel i can make a tumbler that is 2 feet wide and 18 inches across which is definitely big enough to do more than a pound im not sure how much yet but im thinking 2-3 pounds of leaf ............. and its in the 150-200 cost range tops and the ape is 500 its a no brainier for me on the tumbler and the ape press just seems like a waste of money it only does 2 tons of pressure which is on the battering ram not configured for the loss in pressure by the plate having more surface space just seems like a low yielder to me which in turn is not cost efficient in the long run ...... say with my 20 ton press if i upgrade it to the max plate per pressure i think i could squeeze 4 bigger plates at once so i could prob get close to a qp of oil a squeeze compared to a few grams..... but time is money so make whatever choice you would like... oh also the filter on the ape tumbler is made of poly so it wouldn't last very long with dry ice at all compared to a stainless steel screen just my 2 cents on the matter
