How many of you have had issues like bugs, PM, etc transfer to indoor plants when chopping an outdoor plant and bringing it inside to dry?

I do a quick cleaning. Dunk em in and wash them off then dry. But my garage is perfect for drying and I didn't have any problems with mold.
Maybe I’ll give it a rinse. It’s a small plant, first outdoor. I suppose there’s no bugs that eat it while dries or we would hear about it quite a bit. Just wanted to cover all bases. Thabks,

yes bud wash mean washing the branches for hanging..
but i still won’t bring inside unless i feel certain it’s 100% safe
(have an indoor grows)..
i generally just let dry in the sunroom and everything turns out fine, smell taste flavour stone

I used to bring my outdoor plants in the dry. I would wrap tbe bottem of the witb a fly strip, the hang them upside down. Bugs tended to climb up and stick to the tape. I dried in a separate guest room from my grow though

Cool thanks for the tips guys. Fly strip is a good idea. If I do bring it in, it will be on a different floor from the tents, although I know that would be risky too. Might shoot for the garage and hope for the best. Humidity is good outside right now so maybe the garage would give me a 10 day dry.

Didn’t think of it until I saw leaf hoppers, ants, bees, flies and all sorts of stuff chilling on the plant. One ant was stuck in the trichomes like the Jurassic Park masquito. Perfectly preserved lol. I saw what looked like a spider mite web on the top bud today…good thing I’m chopping in a few days!
