Hello all,
As my title saying. I have few ladies who already finishing ,and few who still in flowering.
My question would be can i cut and dry in same tent where i grow. Because if i take it out and dry out without extract fan smell can be too big. Instead of that, would it be very bad if i try leave in same tent and still run grow? Any advice on it. I am bit worry about light because then u drying should be dark?

Thank you for all answers

you'd have to choose between 26c and 50% RH for your flowering girls or 20c and 60% RH for drying.
also maybe to much fan for drying.
you might be able to meet in the middle. just my thoughts

The heat and humidity from a grow in progress is a non-starter for me.

Use a large or appropriately sized cardboard box and fashion strings that run across the box on the inside so you can hang/suspend your buds inside the box. For micro grows, this is how I used to dry small amounts. I would cut a square hole at the bottom on one side, and a square hole towards the top on the opposite side, for ventilation. I would even duct tape a fine mesh screen on both holes keep bugs out. A small electronics or computer case fan can be used to push air through if needed.

Thinking outside of the box made me use the inside of the box 😁😁😁

Thanks , i will consider this :)

So basicaly its not recomended to dry in same tent while growing other plants. But what can happen, will it damage buds?
Uv is bad for the drying herb I've read. Also, typical flowering humidity may be too low for drying the herb and it'll dry too fast. I just dried my patch in a tent and the exhaust fan had to work only intermittently to maintain the humidity below the threshold at lowest possible speed. Still, it seems the stuff dried too fast and got a bit too dry the threshold set at 55% RH. The flowering plants will set a limit on what RH you can use.

Although not recommended there are times that I am forced to dry in my tent while others are still growing in the tent. I try to keep the drying buds down low where it is cooler and the other plants are providing some shade. If they start to dry to fast I put them in a paper bag to slow it down.

Considering that the dry and cure is where the magic happens, i would not risk months of caring for plants to ruin it, IMO, by drying in less than as close to 60°/60% rh as possible. Besides which, I don't think I'd be able to do both in this tent...

The light is the main problem. Chlorophyl negatively affects flavor and keeping the plant in the dark deactivates it.

What are your plans for curing after drying?

I dry in my tent but it is lights out so everything has to be harvested at once

I wouldn't do that. If you have an issue with either the drying plants or the growing plants, you'll doom both - e.g., mold, bugs, etc. I would keep them separate.
