Drying & Storing Roots

So after my harvest from the UC-type hydro setup, I'm left with these huge root masses. And I've been reading that Cannabis root has some medicinal properties so I want to preserve what I'm not going to use right away. Any suggestions?

Depending on your legal status/counts/the laws you operate under in your area, etc....you might make sure that the roots/stems aren't considered a "plant" or evidence of a plant that can be used against you in court. In the 90's I found a story of a guy who was lazy and just stuck the containers/roots over in the corner and took them too the dump infrequently... and when he had a visit they counted them all and charged him with 55 plants (in Indiana or some other godforsaken midwest state).

I don't think anyone would be able to tell what they were once they'd been chopped and dryed and stored, but that is totally something I could see LE trying to get away with, root & stem matter as part of the plant count.:banghead:
