Drying with a Wedyer

Was wondering if when I'm ready to harvest and I chop her, do I add the stalks or trim the bud and dry them only,

I know when during normal drying you keep the stalks to hang them with, do I need to now I'm using a Wedryer

I hope that makes sense??
