DWC nutrient calculation question thanks

This is my 1st DWC grow, and I have a question regarding the calculation of nutrients.
The calculators from nutrient manufacturers give an amount per reservoir size. My DWC has 4 buckets (which hold 3.5 gallons ea,) so my “reservoir” size is 3.5gal correct?

If I was to make this into a RDWC system and connect all 4 buckets to reservoir that holds 3.5 gallons —would my reservoir size be 17.5?

Makes sense to me. I don't think connecting the buckets should change the nute amount or concentration. I'd be tempted to sneak up to the manufacturer's recommended concentration from below, but that's a different issue.
