just took off a top, and unlike the plant I pulled before, the rockwool is completely dry. There is really no roots on the net pot, the few that are, are white. He really start inside theRes outside the netpot.

One thing I did notice on this particular plant is I think I bent her too hard when tying down. The step may have snapped a little at the base. It feels a little flimsy, but the others are much better.

I get what your saying Aqua, but I don’t really see sign of stem rot going on, do you?

I’ll pull them all and check now though.

I honestly am using 2x the air I normally use per gallon. I figured more was better and couldn’t find any data to support to much.

However is it possible the 500-800 ppm of c02 in my room is being pumped into the res causing issues ? I have 3 pumps, all in the bottom of the tent.....

The issue isn’t temperature forsure.But maybe c02?

should I hang or place pumps outside the tent? My indoor c02 levels average 400-600 it appears.... unless my TrolMaster is off significantly

Take a very close up pick of one you haven't touched. I'm almost curious if something is in the glue on that tape you are using under the lid... i highly doubt it but it did cross my mind.

What humidity are you running in the room?

I dont know the really tech stuff ask these guys i just look feel an seems to work

I think there are a few small issues but your in the best hands bro

No co2 is not an issue that all bullshit and will show up in ph. I used to inject my tank with co2 and had to build a rex Griggs reactor in order to dissolve enough co2 in the water to control ph. I wouldnuae co2 to drop my ph by one full point. O2 and co2 are independent and high co2 on the root zone will do nothing to harm a plant other than lower ph.

I won't gwt into all the details but 100% not the issue

That’s exactly what I was thinking.

Here the quick scoop.

These particular cooler lids were different than any others I had used before. They were just extremely thick plastic and the insulation was just foam like normal though.It didn’t cut as planed so I used the foil tape to really secure the netpot as it dropped in place.

The tape is extremely sticky. I was worried when using it near the roots or anywhere they might touch.
So....

normally the roofs drop pretty straight into the Res. And then spiderweb our essentially.

but this time, all the roots first clinched to the lid of the Res first... all over the foil tape, and then grew down into the water. Kinda as they are doing now with the new roots.

What’s interesting though is you would think the foil tape would create more of an issue when they are smaller and still close to the foil as apposed to later after they have dropped into the water

Here is the healthiest plant by far. She grew to be over 12” within the 1st week. Was the 1st one tied down.

Was topped to help keep her at bay while waiting for the others.

She hasn’t grown for almost 2 weeks. You can see where I topped.It did grow new nodes but man they are sad.

to much air can beat up the roots causing a vector for infection. O2 is not brought into the water from the bubbles its surface area and agitation where gas exchange happens. The bubbles mix the water column so its evenly mixed. O2 is very hard to dissolve in water above equilibrium. But as it becomes depleted it becomes easier. Its the amount of surface movement that is key for o2 exchange. Water column mixing is key to bring lower o2 water to the surface. In nature this is important with the amount of movement in our systems its never an issue

Here is a close up the inside and the now black roots.

I think I will omit the foil in this new lid...

I really think it must have leached the system with the chemicals used in the adhesive...

I really don’t know what else besides me adding PH down to the Sensi line, and h202 as well.
