thanks man. first attempt, just worked with what she gave me. started early and kept it as low i could, and crossed my fingers lol. on thing i did learn on this though, is i can see a major difference in cola size depending on how many lower branches were removed. i removed all but the top cola on a couple, and left up to 6 lower branches on other colas to see the difference. the ones with no lowers are looking like they will form one giant cola, and the ones with lowers may not fill in completely. i'll try to get pics of that tomorrow with day 35 update

I bet you could of saved it! I split a main branch down the middle. I had topped it and then was mainlining it out to each side and got a lil aggressive and she split. I duct taped it back up with reflective ducting tape.. Lol all i had close by!..It was literally laying on the floor, hanging by a thread! Anyway taped it up and used bread ties to secure it and still used yoyo's to get my mainline going... I did lose a couple fans as it healed... About 3 weeks later i took it off and it had a knuckle you would of needed a chain saw to get thru...
Also another member here noticed thru trial and error, that when you top, if you leave a lil more nub, it will help when you pull it apart by stretching too... @rmoltis if im correct brother, you are the one that shared that tidbit correct?

Great question, here is a link that will assist you in stressing your plant to obtain higher yields. The bent branch will open up into a large "knuckle", literally creating a wide funnel to the foilage, buds etc on the other side. This also opens your canopy, so that the lower center branches can reach the main canopy level.

Day 35 Agent Orange
She is really showing off how good she smells, very strong when i open the tent. Reminds me of some unforgettable herb i burned almost 20 years ago now, lol . we burned that "citrus" until our connect ran out, fuck that taste good. i hope this does too.

back to the grow though, im struuuuugling with this deficiency. its beginning to piss me off. ec was high when i noticed signs of nute burns (i was testing upper limits...found it!), so i been dropping her ec from 2+ two weeks ago, to 1.7 last week, to 1.3 friday. she looked happy as a clam in the stretch with 2.4ec, but whatever

today, ec level is flat since friday and ph fell through the floor to 5.2. wtf! she is not eating. dumped the bucket and filled with ph'd ro with about 7ml each of calmg and awesome blossoms (p and k) and some orca. im thinking she may have a salt build up so ill let her wash her lady parts off in some cleaner water and hope she gets her shit straight. I'll dump this out in 24 hours and refill with a 1 ec solution and see if she moves it. fuck thats low. if i see her eating again, i'll bump it up to 1.2

for added measure, i dimmed the lights down. im not sure exactly how close these issues coincide with me switching my cobs to 1818's but its in the ballpark. maybe the stronger light is wearing her out and the def is being aggravated? the nugs hiding underneath getting little light seem to be growing fantastically and the leaves hardly show any deficiency.

we'll see if this breather helps...

Below main branch was trimmed to top cola only by day 14, noticeably more filled in compared to other main branches with lowers. Questions I'm considering: will quantity be similar to main with lowers?, will quality be similar?, maturation times different? what will i like more?

this little one has really come on strong the last week. the top filled in. it wasnt dropping at all 7 days ago. this is my larf branch, to see how low below canopy i can grow and be acceptable

Day 42 Agent Orange
So its been a week now with lights at 50% and a low ec. i overfed and had the lights cranked too high, bad combo. She ate some earlier in the week and ph stabilized at .9ec. so i added .15ec of feed on saturday morning thinking she was ready, and she hated me for it. ec has been rising the last 2 days, now at 1.2, a rise of .15. after this post i'll be dumping and giving her a fresh bucket at .9ec, its been 10 days since last change. i'll maintain the lights at this level.

about 3 weeks to go, she's looking frostier, nugs feel dense

all in all, i like dwc, and cant wait to do again. however, im going to wait until i have more space to be able to reach my full potential with a 5g dwc bucket. i dont do them justice in my little tent, lol.

next run is already going, 4 young ones in coco 2.5"-5" tall, all bagseed. one is venom og tho. the goal is 6 plant SOG in 1g square pots harvesting every 3 weeks, autofed dtw

Day 49 Agent Orange
She's just crusing along filling in here and there. I definitely overfed her and gave too much light in early flower, that was my problem. The only deficiency I had was in experience, but I learned a lot with this grow. So, in that sense, its all good. Looks like I will have about 263 million seeds, so that sucks, but the nugs are sticky and dense and smell delicious! The best looking nugs are towards the bottom actually, go figure

I expect to chop her down in about 2 weeks. Just waiting for the hairs to crawl back into the calyx's and some amber trich's. Lotta clear still. She seems happy around .8-.9 EC, so im just leaving it there until i flush next weekend for a couple days with final phase and ph'd ro. then finish off with .3EC sugar daddy. on to the next!

Day 56 Agent Orange

Next update will be harvest. She's finishing up now, looks about a week left. Nugs are dense, she smells great, and looking frostier. You may notice some midgets on the left of the tent, those are some bagseed that went to flower yesterday, in coco. Two more will join them when the Agent Orange is pulled and all 4 will run DTW. Queue the SOG...

damm id love some of those seeds did you try any of them out? how did your other AO turn out? what kind of phenos did you find ?
