A friend was dealing with health issues and neglected his starts from seed. They were outside in a hot house and all went into serious flower during that rainy few weeks a couple of weeks ago. From 50 starts we could probably get a pound of bud from8 to 10" seedlings that's how serious it is. He's added a night light to get them to revert but I'm wondering if its worth it and if it would be smarter to start again. I understand reverted 2' to 3' plants don't produce very well and that's been my experience; but these are still just seedlings non of them over 12".

Yeah...you are correct...Reveged plants suck! (i know I have learned the hard way)
Would be better to keep them in flower somehow. imho
And/or start over. It's early still

I'm with Ken; let these finish their cycle and start over. Next time this looks like it might be happening, turn on a light for an hour right in the middle of the dark period specifically to interrupt the flowering response.
