My 2 bulb florescent veg. grow light hangin 1.5 ft. above the plants in the cloner and the plant in the E&G Bucket.

haha just as much water if not MORE and tons of tubs to unclog and laser lines are a pain to install not to mention unclogging those. so I do believe it is.. unless u are agreeing that that setup is hard to keep the maintenance up on, keep clean, and dispose of the beads, stems, leaves, roots. :evilgrin0040:

You are comparing an aero system to RDWC.

There is no tubing to speak of in the Under Current, save for airlines.

3" PVC takes quite a bit to plug up.

I do think aero systems are much harder to deal with than an Ebb and Gro. But I think the simplicity of the UnderCurrent wins hands down.

I have TUBS and TUBS of hydroton leftover from the (48) 2 gallon E&G vs my 27 8" netpots.

If you are doing it right, you are going to have to get rid of stems, leaves and roots...

While I like your single E&F bucket, I think a bubble bucket would have been far easier for a SINGLE bucket.

2$ pail
4$ netpot bucket lid
10$ air pump and stone

for the system u have all these different sized pvc pipes and then u have all those turns and stuff that u gotta clean :( plus every pot plus every res. if its not that bad why did u want to sell it to me?
Thank you it was very fun to put together. works great so far.:)
I wont use the net pots because of nats. i dont like the air stones i have heard it is a waste of money and that i should just go with the air pump

L O L.

If you don't like advice, don't ask for it. There are whole sections of this site dedicated to what you want to do. Do some research, figure out what you want to do, then whine to that forum when you can't get it.

Do yourself a favor and buy an undercurrent system.

PS. If you don't want bugs, you are going to have to clean. Stop being lazy.

WTF are you talking about?

Net pot bucket lid:

Didn't realize you only wanted one single bucket. Again, I would have done a bubble bucket vs an Ebb and Flow.

Airstones are a waste? Hmm. Ok.

Anyway.

Good luck...

You said you didn't like net pots because of gnats...

And I have 3 UNDER CURRENT systems.

I do have an EBB and GRO system as well, not in use...

You asked about building an EBB and GRO system, I don't like them for the very reasons you mentioned, yet you wanted to build a system. Turns out that 'system' is just a single bucket. If it were me, I would have done a single bucket as a bubbler, but thats just me.

Good luck.

Some of us find it far from ideal but it doesn't look like you care. I don't like it if that's what you wanted to hear. If you don't want me to tell you how you could improve it then I won't waste my time.
