did you cut out your h2o2? i run dutchmaster zone which is much like h2o2, and i also run alot of benes and enzymes. what i do to run these together is add my zone in a day or two before my rez change. also another very important thing to watch in aero is your water temp. 75 or below is a must. chillers are a lil pricey, so what you can do instead is line you buckets with insulated materal and keep your room at 72-75 when the lights are on. cold night temps will help keep the water temp down, but dont go too cold
any ?'s dont be afraid to pm, im running aeroflos, which is basically a sog dwc setup

Yes I left out the H202 when I moved the plants into the buckets. If I am understanding correctly it should be okay to add some a couple days before I change the rez...? I would love to use it as I have seen what it can do for your root system. Since I have moved them to my flowering room I have more control over temps. I will check it out tonight & see what the nute solution temp is. The room is set for 77F but it gets cooler at night, like around 60-65F. The insulation you spoke about, is it the reflective kind like they carry at Lowes & Home Depot? I would love to pm you but last time I tried it said I had not posted enough yet to pm. I think you need at least 100 post. I will take you up on that offer though when I'm able to & thank you so much for the help!

o btw love the root porn

I will take some pics of the roots when they grow through the hydroton & net pot. They looked really good when I transplanted to the buckets. Of course the little short one is the exception to that....

o yep sorry i think its 50 posts, almost there
i do 24 hours of zone right before a rez change. if you got $30 laying around zone is a must have in hydro. h2o2 is good to, but as somebody said earlier (i think) its very harsh. its still ok to use just watch your mixing ratios very very close

50?...Great! That cuts what I was thinking in half! I will pick up a bottle of the zone & just use the H202 for clean-up. I'm disabled & on fixed income so I def don't have $$ laying around (LMAO) but it's worth 30 bucks if it will help the root health/growth. There is no substitute for knowledge passed on via 1st hand experience as far as I am concerned anyway. Your help and input is very much appreciated!

Good stuff... sub'd for future porn!

Hey glad to have you watching....I'm gonna try & get info updated this weekend after I take a trip to the supply store. I am seriously considering picking up some Pro mix & starting a few to try it out. I have some space in my room & hate to let it go to waste!

Cool, keep the PH lower then 6.3-6.4 and your good. I usually PH 5.9ish in veg and let anything under 6.4 go in flower for the pro-mix.

Hey bro, just wonderin...why the autos?!?!

I just wanted to try them out for myself so I could form my own opinion of them. Also they are supposed to be fast and they are serving as a test run in my DWC set-up. I am trying different set-ups/ grow styles to see what works best for me.

Well I'll be darned... I cleaned my flower room thoroughly, washed, vacumed, wiped down & disinfected it. I go out this afternoon and there it is.....Spider Mites! So I guess I carried the Bastards in there myself. I am curious how you guys would approach this situation. Thank God there are only 2 plants in there for them to mess with! I have Neem oil and Organicide on hand to use. Last time I used it I mixed it too strong or something and the girls were not happy about it. Do any of you use these and if so how strong do you mix them & when is the best time to apply it? My light cycle is 20 / 4 which is what was recommended for the strain.

I fucked myself with gnats and spider mites with my organic soil.
I just plan on bleaching every room. I think 5% of bleach kills anything.

My best advice for the mites is Mighty Wash. Very very clean solution, will not burn plants. Dunk the leaves in the solution, whatever else should get sprayed liberally.

Oh, I also have a pair of shoes I put on before I go into the basement. My system in tuned in, so I go down only once or twice a day (compared to 20).

Thanks Dank & NPK for the info... I ended up using the Neem oil that I had on hand. I was fortunate to catch it before it was a full blown infestation.

I apologize for being away for so long to anyone who may have been keeping track. I have harvested this grow & I did take a few pics if anyone wants to see them but it did not turn out very well to be frank. The high is about a 7 out of 10 but flavor & aromas are sub par even with a 10 day flush. I don't blame that on the genetics though as I am learning as I grow. Since I have plenty of time and I am mostly looking for quality & flavor I am gonna try my hand at organic soil. From what I understand it's much more forgiving than Hydro methods. I will give hydro another shot when I have more experience under my belt.

Try and try again

Was going over your tread and thought I'd reply.
You have had some good support & advice
So, shit happens. Some people do a few grows and everything
goes good, all shit happens and they have no idea of what the he'll
is going wrong. Because of the first small grows did good they try a bigger
grow when everything hit the fan. From higher heat,
powdery meldow to mites. There more of everything & harder
to solve!

So, you still had smokables & another grow under your belt. All great to have.
So post your pic's, get some advise to fine tune your set-up and try again.
If ya have the room do a couple of buckets of Soiless using organic fert's, and or an Organic mix. Don't make your own mix at first, buy it!!
You'll have your preference in no time and tweak from there. Soils takes more of your time with feeding and watering. But you are more observant.
If your disability like me keeps me close to home anyways.

Peace Man

Kill for peace, is like fucking for virginity !:)

Play2breal, I could not agree more. The good folks at this forum have been a tremendous help, not only with this thread but with the others I have asked questions on. I really had not thought about posting the pics for feedback purposes but that would seem to be the logical thing to do. I am so glad you replied to my post and appreciate your positive input. I am in a bit of a rush at the moment but later today I will download the pics off my cam and upload them here for the folks to take a look at. I am going to use Happy Frog soil to start out my soil grow with only a few small amendments, nothing drastic. I'm not trying a super soil or anything at this point. I will be sticking with all organic products. That's all for another thread though. Also yea, I am home most of the time with plenty of time on my hands as well. Thanks again and I will be back tonight!

The following are a few pics I took towards the end and just before harvest. If any issues are apparent to you from the pics please let me know so I can improve or eliminate them on the next grow. I severely impacted these plants potential early in the grow with PH issues and I added some products to the nute solution that killed off my micro life. The pics are kinda out of order and I could not upload the best ones due to the file size limitations. I plan on using a back drop cloth for future pics to reduce glare. Hopefully the pics and the crop will improve next time!
