EC levels in coco coir

Hi growers,
I'm growing in coco and I've realised that different stains need different EC levels and in general nutrient companies feed schedule recommendations are high.
I'm using Plagron and they suggest 2.4 for late flower is this a bit high?

seems weird to me that the ec keeps rising, and doesnt peak around the mid of flower and then start drasticly decreasing.. if all seems good just give them less nitrogen after week 6 and start decreasing it so that you would have about 0 nitrogen before you flush
