ECO Farm Samsung 480W Quantum Board with Individual UV IR Switch

Just found this forum and WOW such great 411 being shared by so many like minded individuals.
I’m looking to knock off the cob webs and get back into growing after a 25 year hiatus. It’s incredible how things have advanced so rapidly.
Has anyone used the grow light ECO Farm Samsung 480W Dimmable Quantum Board with Individual UV IR Switch. It looks like has the Samsung diodes from looking at the charts. I believe the light is from a company in Canada. It’s listed at $400.00 with a 25% discount currently.
All the statistics look good unless I’m missing something and that could very well be the case.
I would be utilizing this light in a 4x4’ tent using all soil and organic nutrients.
I would appreciate any and all insight.

Hello man ! Welcome back to your hobby I guess. 480w is Nice for 4x4. Does not have any knowledge about ecofarm. Its recommended to not have uv on the led board because of longevity and such. They does apparently not give much effect and is often a gimmick.

I got kingbrite 480w w uv and ir. Did not know about the uv gimmick thing then. But I am happy with it

Ecofarm, if I remember correctly, hits you with a huge shipping charge to make up for the low upfront costs.

I don't know how much it matters, but the spectrum they show is a bit lower than competitors, in the blue range.

Shipping was right around $50.00 for something weighing over 20 pounds and considering the size I thought the shipping was fairly priced.. I just don’t know enough about the LED lights and that was what I’m hoping to get help on.
I will look at the Kingbrite and compare data.. I truly appreciate the insight..
