Effect of increasing light in late flowering? Any help?

Hey guys, so right now i'm about 2.5 weeks away from chop and I've been on a 11 1/2 hours light/12 1/2 hours dark for a while now (4 weeks). I've been reading that a slight increase in light during late flowering would help swell buds up.

My question is that if I increased the light to maybe a 12/12 or a 12 1/2 hours light/11 1/2 hours dark for the last 2 weeks...would that help me out?

Any advice is appreciated!

NO. Tweaking the plant towards growth phase just opens the buds up, it doesn't bulk them up at all.

What you will get is a lowered expression of trichomes on new growth, accelerated death of existing bud, and a re-concentration of nitrogen in the bud to spoil your smoke. Please don't screw with Mother Nature unless you really truly know what you are doing...

indeed best thing you can do is maybe use some extra lights, some cfls. or what not
