Hey OLY! As a industral electrician in Washington I say great work! why use the 8+ gang, boxes dont they cost an arm and a leg compared to 4sq. boxes

I was wondering if you had any one line diagrams of some of the fancy stuff like PLCs

I would like to start doing in my rooms as they are starting to get bigger. Building my biggest yet at 18kw room with 28kw for the whole house.

I have a lot of info and pics of PLCs, I will post most pics soon. DO IT, why are there no BX fittings to secure the powerboxes and home runs to your loadcenter, you should have some BX fittings and bushings to mount those cables to the loadcenter.

No dis bro, sweet setup, I was just referring to where the 6awg cable enters the loadcenter, spend $10 and get some bx fittings, I luv the tiled floor, that rocks.

So did this power a total of 96 1000w lights? I have a question for you.

How many lights could be run with 2 200 amp 3 phase panels? We need atleast 1 veg room, or the ability to veg in the actual rooms.

I could never understand how 3 phase worked, so I couldn't maximize my place. I was only able to design a place that runs 45 lights. 36 flowering lights and 9 veg lights in 5 rooms....with your crazy lighting load centers, what can you for me?

If you can design something for me that will run more lights, I will buy it and have an electrician install it...I am currently running 3 Powerbox DPC15000's with 2 LSM-20's.

Bobby... you mention 3 phase but you didnt mention the voltage at the panel. Every 3 phase system Ive seen is for large pumps and motors and is 440V and this needs to be transformed down to 120v/240v and this a subpanel and separate from the main 440 panel. So you can only take advantage of the 120/240 for lighting, however you might find a large chiller than runs 3phase 440V and remove that from the 120/240 load.

Boy would love to see the hydro bill for those big panels, well if your only running a few lights this is what I make up for my stuff and customers. I run 50a with these.

Here's a question for @Olyver : how do you build a staggered light activation feature into those builds? I'm concerned about activating 20+ lights all at once and pulling down that much power seems to cause problems. I'll post pics of my controllers tonight.

I use a PLC and set delay times with each block, can stagger any number of lights at a time, sensors also trigger lights to stagger off if room gets a little too warm, some lights will shut off, then turn back on when on when temp lowers, then next set of different lights turn off if heat rises.
