electrical costs?

I was hoping to get some help calculating electrical costs for my grow? I have no clue where to start.

Grow includes:

x2 400w hps @ 1,344 hrs

x2 4 inch blowers @ 2,016 hrs

x2 12 inch desk fans @ 2,016 hrs

x2 4 inch computer fans @ 2,016 hrs

x1 820w a/c unit @ 1,008 hrs

sorry if im being stupid but you didnt include how much you pay for electricity.., nor the wattage of the blowers, desks fans, pc fans

total day wattage consumption, in kilowatts per hour * day rate for kilowatt hour + total night wattage * night rate for kilowatt hour = total daily cost. then multiply that by how many days and done..

This is how you figure out your daily usage. 1000 watts ran for 1 hour equals 1 kilo watt hour, so 2 400w lights would be .8 Kwh, now multiply .8 by the number of hours for both lights combined and that will give you the daily Kwh usage. Then multiply your daily Kwh usage by the price you pay per Kwh (look at your electric bill) then multiply that number by 30 and you will end up with the average cost per month to run both 400w lights.

Do that with all of your equipment and you can easily figure out approximately how much your electric bill will rise.

I'll show you my 600w light as an example:

.6 x 12 = 7.2 x .08 = .576 x 30 = 17.28

So I pay about $17 a month to run my 600w for 12 hours a day.
