Can't be too careful about electrical wiring. Always have a margin for voltage fluctuation.

yea man agreed, I really took a good look at what my options were, 200amp service and a newly constructed house with fresh wires is what im going for in my next house. Theres no sense in burning up your block, prolly wouldnt make me very popular

Dude if you can hook up a DVD/Home theater system you can upgrade your panel to 200 amps. It's not rocket science. have the power company disconnect and make sure the incoming line can handle it. Label everything you take off and put new panel and new breakers in. Reconnect the lines from the house to the new breakers, exactly like you disconnected. connect the trunk line from the pole and have your electrician ispect. turn power on and your done. I've seen about 10 growrooms in the bay done like this in the last 6months alone. save like 2000 and no more problems.
