4-4, 3-3 or 6-6 but I have no idea, the only thing I know is that I saw this for autos and now Im impressed at how much they eat, their DLI has increased for sure for sure. As long as photos are getting the 12 hours of darkness they should still flower even if its under 4-4 or 6-6, right? Im not sure about that one but I think I have seen in mentioned in the forum, not sure, hopefully someone can tell me.
I’ve heard anecdotal testimony that you can keep a photo in veg by interrupting its dark period A few times during the night! If you put them out early in the year! Have never heard whether you can keep it in flower by more or less the same method! What a conundrum!😂🍻✌️

Yes thats my understanding too, that they need 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness. I didnt know you could keep it on veg by interrumping dark but if that works I dont think they will flower then with the power nap method.

Im gonna ask again in hopes someone responds, but Im afraid most likely no one has tried the power nap method with regular feminized seeeds. Aynone? Im currently using 6/2 for the autos and theyre eating more than I could have ever imagine an auto eating, could it work for photos? Im not gonna try it until I know if someone has tried it here 🤣
Yes I veg photos in 9/3. This run im using 18/6 to manage daytime temperature but as soon as midday sun is not an issue I will switch back. Autos always!

I don’t know! Like I said it’s anecdotal so it has to be taken with a grain of salt! I’ve tried a lot of anecdotal shit that doesn’t work! Lol! And I don’t touch premature flowering with a 10 foot pole! Anecdotal or not!😂

I am under the impression cannabis needs 12 hrs darkness.....continuously to flower
Thats why I asked about the flowering schedule 🤔

I just think that I saw someone mention it here that doesnt necessesarily have to be 12 inuninterrupted hours but honestly I cant trust my memory, thankfully I have you guys! 😛

Yes for autos Im running 6/2 right now and they got so hungry that they have irreversible damage in the leaves due to deficiencies. So far Ive seen mag def, iron def, potassium def and nitrogen def and Im feeding them way more than Ive ever fed any auto, is wonderful. I was just wondering if it could be done with photos, but Im not willing to try it unless I know it works hahaha I depend on my harvest too much.

Thats what I thought too but I have the memory of someone saying it doesnt have to be uninterrupted, my memory could be perfectly failing me though.

Sharing the pain of relying on people that are high with my plants. I freaking starved them because I forgot that the DLI would increase and I should increase nutes accordingly. I always push to the max but I was pushing too slow and now Im gonna lose yields but they should be chunky anyway.

You can really push the DLI with 9/3. At 800 umols for 9 hrs x2 that's a 50 DLI. With the extra dark period in between they don't get light stress. Because a day to them is a dark/light cycle which is still the recommended 25 DLI. If you tried to give young vegging plants 800 umols for 18 hrs straight they'd be fried. Dr Bruce Bugby says cannabis does the majority of it's best photosynthesis in the first several hours of the day and it gradually tapers off after that.

And yes I believe the doubling or tripling of the dark cycles/circadian rhythm helps the plant metabolize and eat more.

The problem is none of this has been studied yet so it's just the eye test from me. One of the very few bro science things I do!

They have not yellowed anymore since yesterday, I burned them a little bit but I was sick of it, I was already going full dose-half dose and yesterday or the day before I gave them a full dose after another full dose the previous watering. Got a few burnt tips but no more yellowing so far.

Those look great! But hungry yeah! I like the foxtails too I think they're beautiful. My next run will be 2 canna cheese autos in 9/3 time. I'm actually really looking forward to it!
Youre being too kind hahaha they look hungry as fuck yes. Thankfully for the defoliation I only took out a few lower fan leaves and some first node branches that were only a few inches long so theyve been able to feed on the fan leaves otherwise they would be dead probably hahahaha.

Oh and I know the lights are way to close, I ran out of space, these motherfuckers got tall as hell with the power nap method. So far no bleaching on the buds just some leaf heat/light stress but nothing major. 150W panels so theyre not gonna fry them much but Im not comfortable at all with the situation.

Those are getting fat!!!!! Great work @Eledin
How many more weeks do you think they'll go? If only 2 or 3 weeks left, you could slower decrease the lights power

I have 4 that only have white pistils still, the thin ones, thats why I think they might get nicely fat but we'll see. The ones that are closest to harvest are 2-3 weeks away, I think Ill dimm the lights when the thin ones are close to harvest, theyre in mid flower. I dont know if its because theyre old seeds or the genetics themselves but the thin ones are gonna surpass the 2 month mark for flower.
