EDIT: Forgot to say in this video even though I said it in the other ones. If youre gonna use suggar it must be unrefined brown suggar, molasses, agave syrup or something minimally processed like those. Anything but refined suggar, brown or white.
 
Yes it's more complete as AI prepared it, so better than mine which is this, in parts, recently replaced by Great White in my grow.
But I'd test the computer's idea against a control and your way... if you completely want your answer and the background info on it. Something the AI skips a lot is the Why and How.
 
Great white is great like the name indicates hahaha I use it too but sadly it doesnt have lactobacillus, I can only find them in liquid form and theyre super expensive thats why I learned how to make this simple recipe. I think lactobacillus might not be able to live in powder form, and if it is its not available in Spain, only in liquid form.

Lacto is in Great White, kind of, in that it creates a condition that gets lacto to colonize from the air or naturally. I've seen people say it's in there but they don't claim it and it wouldn't powder. But that method is often good enough for natural yeast anyhow.
 
Ill be your witness for the trial. We dont have half the things you have in the US for growing cannabis. Hell my super soil I add all the ammendments myself 1 by 1 because I cant find a good mix with what I want.
I see, I didnt know that great white promotes lactobacillus! Still might be a good idea to reinforce it as waiting for a natural colonization I must assume will take way longer.
 
Timing is... well slower than yeast, yeast is a fuckin pirahnna. I make my soil because I had a hell of a time with 3 pre-mixed. That "promotes" thing is sneaky. It's a thing to ponder as a Quality.
 
Thats true, calling my equipment good equipment is going too far but is not the worst either, Ive grown in a cardboard box before I had the second indoors in this house hahaha that was much worse but still decent buds. After searching a lot I could find one pic, I cant find a pic where I have them in flower but oh well, just so you get an idea. This light I used at the start then swaped to a more potent LED bulb when I had money so they wouldnt stretch much. I also had a hole with an exhaust fan on the top left but it cant be seen here.

I hope you can reproduce the results of grow 1 Im sure you can get better buds than me once you get going, youre curious and persistent and you like to research!
i gotta admit i initially thought you were likely using higher end lights and stuff. i love the results you get........ i'm thinking grow 1 may have been something of a fluke. over time maybe i'll manage, the present grow while appearing healthier than the last few does leave me for wanting. i don't like how pale they appear but will see how they progress. all in all even when i am not completely happy with my results at times there is always the pleasure of seeing all the fine results others are getting. was looking at the latter pics of a smaller plant. very nice chunky buds even if they may not be the biggest. love the color and the beautiful bunches of pistils......... can't wait until mine start thickening up........... glorious, chunky, sparkling sweet buds make me crazy.
 
Big indoors update. The frostyness Im seeing... I like, the bud size is clearly affected by the lack of defoliation but I think its going faster than usual thanks to that aswell. The side lights are helping the mid section buds to develop, and the low section buds will be all for kief.

PD: I know, its a jungle down there but the lower leaves dont look old like they usually do, I guess the plant is using them well, at least for the side lights and the residual light from above.

That leaf is twisted cause its touching the door but I have not seen water accumulation so I didnt bother choping it. Staying true to 0 defoliation hahaha

Thank you! They still have time to fatten, but the one that is going the fastest and has orange pistils is not gonna fatten as much as the others I believe. In any case Im happy with them, still 4ish weeks to go and the blue color will start showing soon 😁
Im liking yours too, specially number 1, cant wait to see it fatten into a nice uniform cola!
 
@JaBy don't let a setback fuck with your attitude, and it looks like it won't. Man my actual record since not growing in forever plus is like 2 good ones, 1 acceptable one, 4 total junk grows that are all me, and 5 dead seeds. Or at least that's close enough of a guess. And last run was an all out banger just fucking... 3+oz of joy, maybe 4. That's not even great lol, but you get good smoke you know everything about and pride brother.
 
Weekend update! Happy with the decision of not defoliating, I was a bit nervous not gonna lie its been a long while since I have not lollipoped them. Upper buds getting fatter and some nice buds below the net too. This is just for dry weight, next grow I will go back to lollipoping for missile colas.

Small indoors, day 32 of flower. Coverage is not as good but I decided to top way too late because I was hoping they would fit after the stretch but it wasnt looking good... still looking nice, One got a bit hungry and has a couple yellow leaves, but nothing serious. Also the Kmintz didnt reach the net and that also makes it look more empty, as soon as I toped it the fucker stoped stretching, probably stunted the shit out of it by toping it in flower but looks healthy and frosty.

What Im feeding now that the super soil starts getting depleted:

1. Iguana juice bloom - NPK + calmag + enzymes + aminoacids + carbs + minerals + vitamins +other goodies like humic and fulvic acids, nothing beats it in my opinion as organic base NPK liquid.

2. Big bud organic - PK +aminoacids + ascorbic acid+ citric acid + whey proteins (probably has lactobacillus? I add it myself anyway).

3. Molasses, carboload and bud candy - super complete mix of simple and complex suggars for the liking of any microorganism.

4. Atazyme - enzymes for helping in the decomposition of the organic matter.

5. Top barrier - potassium silicate.
 
By the way people said in this forum many times that Iguana Juice removed guano from the formula and went as far as call it "no-guano water". They never removed the guano from the formula. It still has guano, kelp, alfalfa meal, fish hydrosolate, yucca extract, yeast extract, worm castings, volcanic rock powder and krill meal. And thats only what I could find, there might be something else in there.
Its basically a super soil in liquid form and with the nutrients more readily available.
What people might be experiencing is the state in which the liquid comes. Sometimes is more watery sometimes is more thick and if its past the expiration date you will most likely need to add some water so its not as dense. This might give the impression that it has less stuff sometimes but it doesnt, its thick and it gets very, very thick with time.
The new formula was basically removing some things from the label and maybe adjusting something so it could be certified organic and then launch the OG organics line (which are all certified organic, a liquid can be organic but if it doesnt meet certain criteria you cannot certify it)

Bud video. 3 weeks to go, still some fattening to do. More blue showing. I didnt top dress after all, just gave them a really good dosage of nutes and supplements. I think I wanna keep the few gnats that are here around, I should reinforce the BTI probably but Im not gonna do it either because there's enough of them so gnats cant proliferate. Why didnt I use DE or reinforce BTI? Because a controlled pest gives you frostier buds, Im not gonna bother them, if they munch on a root very ocasionally Im fine with it, the plant triggers the defense mechanism and increases trichomes.
 
I had to cut 2 buds. The 2 plants that had 2 buds together cause I toped them late, I removed one of the two so it doesnt get moldy. Been drying it on the router for a few days, still doesnt burn clean but look at that oil ring, isnt it beatiful? The weed from my dealer doesnt do this (Keep in mind that I use more tobbaco than weed so its hard to get an oil ring, not the same as smoking hash or pure green)

I'm familiar with old style blunts and dutches, american. If you know Tribe Called Quest? For a while they played small shows but kept going during like The Love Movement years. So I got blunt lessons from one of them, I still can't remember the name because I mix them all up. Believe it or not they don't get on the random playlist often. I quite like early Wu-Tang though.

Im familiar in the sense that I know they are old school rap but I wouldnt be able to name a song, but Im pretty sure Ive heard them somewhere because if I know them its because theyre famous hahaha.
Thats so cool! How did he like his blunts? I like mine like fags (not from the UK but I like to use that word 🤣), long and thin. I thought blunts with tobbaco were called spliffs in the US, didnt know they also were called old style blunts. I can only imagine trying to smoke a full green of brick weed though... doesnt seem like it would end well hahaha. Also here in Spain many people smoke hash because we have Morocco very close, so usually people start with hash and then many people after that shitty hash stops getting them high they start on weed, but thats why in Spain most people smoke it with tobbaco.
 
I mean dont get me wrong we have good hash too, plenty, because of the same reason, Morocco. But we also have plenty of shitty dried hash and that goes for the kids who dont know what theyre smoking or people above 50 who dont give a fuck cause thats what they smoked all their life. But good hash is more expensive than good weed nowadays, it wasnt like that a couple decades ago.
