this is how i feel about buckets of dry ground goat shit mixed with topsoil.

Ive filmed myself mixing and laying it down probably 4 times.

But then im just like "Does anyone really want to see my buckets of poop and dirt?" 🀣 Its dried goat shit mixed with dirt i pulled out of the ground with a shovel. That's pretty self explanatory i think.

your bucket's A little less self explanatory then poop and dirt though lmao.

I do! 🀣 I’ve been hearing more and more twords full organic, I’ve done a few runs full organic and have been adjusting my inputs, looking at crushed oyster shell and feather meal to add to my mix, biochar was next but I run promix so I don’t pre cook the mix I mix and up pot about 3 weeks early for flower and let the microbes go to work for 3 more weeks of veg and figure there pretty active and have converted enough available nutrients for the plants when they really start pulling around week 2-3 of flower, it’s advises against pre wetting promix for too long not in use as the lime it’s buffered with tends to start rising the PH not long after getting wet so I prefer to mix and drop em in immediately and let the cook happen as they stretch their roots

So far so good witht he method but still tweakin it

So far the theory has worked, I know I’m running low on nitrogen at about week 6 I statuary yellowing out, but I also don’t use blood meal, but thinking about adding it, but it’s the one amendment that makes me nervous even being organic, but I may break down and do it

What improvements have you seen since using biochar? In your opinion is it worthwhile to invest in it or is it just another overhype?

You speak excellent English man! Well done!
Thank you! But I still have a lot of room for improvement hahaha. Im self taught like many people. Just decided to start watching movies, tv shows, etc in english for pronunciation and I used to listen to a lot of music and search for the meaning of the lyrics aswell, that helped me with written english but I was still very bad at pronunciation. Im still very bad with some words, I just avoid them or try to hahaha.

Great man! I think going full organic is great, it allows for a lot of room in terms of how you wanna approach your grow! Yeah its totally fine to ammend short before planting, Ive done it many times because I plant the seed directly in a big pot. By the time the roots have colonized the lower part which is the most loaded with nutrients the plant is big enough to take them and the ammendments are already releasing nutrients.

Biochar is great if you reuse soil like I do, you buffer the old soil with new organic nutrients revitalizing it 100%. Its also good if you dont reuse the soil because it oxygenates the soil just like perlite or clay pebbles would. Biochar takes hundreds of years to degrade so once you add it you can just keep recharging the soil. It will slowly release nutes for your roots with each watering if its charged and if its not charged you will probably need to feed your plant more at first because it will absorb nutrients.

LOL naw i got that picture stuck in my brain now don't need a visual

My poor babygirls look awful, theyve been thirsty since yesterday and have not been fed in a week (to avoid them reaching the cealing plus I dont mind losing lower foliage, I will show in the video how all of that is gonna be removed anyway so I did let them canibalize themselves a little bit)
EDIT: Dont worry they will be totally fine tomorrow.

Dude! Thats awesome! I wouldn’t even know where to start if I wanted to in the way you did! πŸ‘

Hahaha love your cat! We all love the plants kitty! πŸ˜‚

I tried learning a little French so I could chat with Figolus but man what a hard language to learn. Not only the words them self are hard AF to say but then you start getting into the meaning of phrases and shit!? For get about it! Hahaha!

Hahaha imagine how hard it is for Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc... to learn english! My process has taken years, Ive also spoken with people around the globe which also helped practice my spoken english but yes Ive been doing what I said for maybe... 15 years? Its not that hard, everything I did was in english so I had no choice but to google everything I didnt know the meaning of. 15 years and I still cant pronunciate some words properly hahaha. Learning a new language is tough if you have to study it, but if you force yourself to do everything in that language, movies, videogames, music, socializing, etc... in a few years you will know way more than you think with just initial effort.

Dude me and my 7 year old were just looking up the Japanese alphabet because he is interested in β€œwriting in Japanese” he try’s lol. I CANT EVEN IMAGINE how hard it is for them to learn English! The folks who do learn it hats off to them! And you haha!

Forgot to mention about this that I avoid blood meal and bone meal. It might say eco friendly but the farm they came from doesnt necessarily have to be so you dont know if that blood is full of hormones and antibiotics. The only animal product I use is wild bat guano, and worm castings if that counts as animals even though they are slugs. Well, and krill meal but its also wild life, made from the small crustaceans that cant be sold for anything else when fishermen pull the net.

I have a liquid supplement which is a veg booster with N, natural hormones and aminoacids. This totally solves the low nitrogen with my ammendments.

Delta 1 Cannabiogen Composition

  • 13% Free Amino Acids
  • 7.9% Total Nitrogen
  • 4.2% Ammoniacal Nitrogen
  • 3.2% Organic Nitrogen
  • 0.5% Urea Nitrogen
  • 0,5% Water Soluble Phosphorus Pentoxide

Yeah that all works for me, the blood meal on top of your reasons is also damn hot when it breaks down, I basiacally tweak by walking through the store and reading boxes 🀣

Thank you! Hopefully no hermies this time, Im playing with fire with the Fat Banana, had them herm on me 3 times... out of many though, is one of my favorite strains so I make sure to get at least 1 harvest per year. Its not RQS's fault, any chiquita banana cross is a gamble.

Hi there! Ive been posting each of my grows in a different post and I decided since Im gonna do it consistently to just make 1 post like many people do and put them all in one post. A "quick" recap of the soil, ammendments and liquids I use:
Soil: Canna terra professional, composition;
Peat and perlite; NPK 12-14-24; EC 1.0; PH 6.
Toped with biobizz coco + perlite.
Drainage method: Arlite on the bottom.
Additives mixed with the soil: Extra perlite, coco coir, vermiculite, arlite, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, neem meal, dolomite lime, phosphoric rock dust, volcanic ash, worm castings, bat guano, biochar.
BASE NPK: Going back to Iguana Juice as base NPK after trying a few other organic brands. Will use Iguana Grow for veg and then Iguana Bloom for the first 3 weeks of flower. After that I will mix 50% Iguana bloom 50% Alghemp F from Trabe to reduce nitrogen intake.
Other liquid additives: Radical roots by Trabe (from week 1 of veg to week 3 of flower), Radical flower by Trabe (flower), Top Barrier by Top Crop (Potassium silicate, veg and extra during flower), Big Bud by AN (week 1 to 3 of flower), Bud Candy by AN (flower), eggshell + vinegar calcium mixed in the water with epsom salts (resulting in CAL-MAG-SULFUR, veg and extra during flower), CALMAG by Ionic (I try to avoid it and use my mix for calcium since calmags tend to come with nitrogen and this one is no exception, but I will use it if I see they want more nitrogen instead of my mix)
Top dressing: Will probably only use bat guano and palm tree ash as pk booster after 3rd week of flower. Might use any of my other ammendments too if I see it fit but I like to push with liquids in flower and only a light top dress.
Suggar sources for microorganisms: molasses and sweet beetroot juice.
Suggar source for fattening buds: Bud Candy from Advanced Nutrients.

x4 Melonade Runtz (Dutch Passion) in 7Gal pots and x1 Wedding Cake (Random seed) in 3Gal pot.
x2 150W Cosmos LEDs (Full spectrum with IR and UV). 100x100x200cm cultibox light tent.
Day 29 of 12/12 (In my original post I got it wrong, I thought they were at day 35+ and I was a bit dissapointed but turns out Im a moron and I cant do basic math πŸ˜‚). Happy with the frostiness, waiting to see how they fatten.

And here is my new tent. 80x80x160cm Hydro Shoot tent.x3 Fat Banana (Royal Queen Seeds) 5Gal pots, x1 Forbidden Fruitcake (Advanced Seeds) 5Gal pot.
2x Niello 1200 130W LED (Full Spectrum with IR and UV). They have fans so the 130W are not exclusively the LEDs unfortunately, but will be good enough for now, Ive had them for a year and I cant complain at all, got some impressive buds a couple of grows ago with Crystal Candy from Sweet Seeds using these.

And if youre curious about the Crystal Candy from Sweet Seeds that I pulled out with those "130W" LEDs here they are, got 2 dark blue ones and 2 green ones:

Wow man nice to see someone put in that level of research and effort into soil amendments and nutrient regime truly respectable and inspiring cudos.
Those buds look dank as fuck 🀀 real thick coating of crystals and big juicy nugs... Oooh I'm jealous πŸ€£πŸ•‰οΈ
